Windows 7 Security

The web in generally is a dangerous place without a tough anti virus you will not survive. So in this post I will try to help you out with some basic security tips such as Choosing an decent anti virus.

Choosing an Anti Virus.

To proctect your self from all the dangers that inhabit the net you must have an anti virus. A virus may harm your computer just a little bit and you could survive without much damage but one could really destroy the core system and cost you damages upto to a thousand dollars.

Here is a list of Anti Virus software supported by Windows 7: McAfee,Kaspersky,Norton,Trend Micro,Panda Security,AVG,F-Secure.

I don’t not have experience with all but I have had a great experience with AVG on Windows 7 and XP aswell. Very dependable Anti Virus for any home computer , don’t need to manage much you can set certain times for scans. The only managing is installing ,and updating both are pretty simple and one can be done automatically. Also the nice interface helps, nothing revolutionary but decentĀ  and simple. The only con I got against this is when your watching online media it might sometimes interfer but it isn’t that much of a innusance and when it is scanning it can make your computer sloow but people normally leave the scan on when they are away from the computer so…

There are many choices , many are good Anti Virus’s in their own right but AVG is my favorite .
